COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Dental health is essential to our patients overall health. With that in mind, we had implemented changes to our office so our patients can visit their doctors without worrying about safety. With so many changes that have occurred over the past year, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to our patients' health and safety.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of our office protocols have changed to maintain social distancing and ensure maximum safety and health for our patients and staff. Below are some new changes and protocols following the COVID-19 guidelines from SF Health Department and CDC.  Please read through all of this page as there are changes to our office protocols that directly affect your care.

Before Your Appointment

  • Patients will receive an email a day before their appointment with an appointment reminder and a link to the patient screening questionnaire (for Monday patients, they are sent out on Saturdays). Please have the questionnaire filled out and sent back to our office before your appointment.

  • Patients will receive other necessary forms by email, such as new patient paperwork and consent forms. The fill out forms can be sent back to our office by email or have them printed out and brought to the office on the day of the appointment.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean that you may be asked to wait outside of the office/building. We ask patients to give the office a call to make sure it is okay to enter the office.

  • There will be no waiting room available for patients to wait in if patients arrive too early or if they have guests with them. We allow only one patient in the office at a time

    • Exceptions will be made for parents of children, legal guardians/caregivers, or if they are living in the same household.

Appointment Day Protocol Changes (as of 3/1/2022) â€‹

  • Please remain in your car and call the office upon your arrival.  We will instruct you when to enter the building/office.

  • Please wear your mask or face covering when you enter the building/office. Only remove your mask when treatment starts.  Please put on your mask as soon as the treatment is done.

  • Please ring the doorbell to notify our front desk. We will open the door for you as soon as possible to take your temperature and blood oxygen levels.

  • We recommend you to bring a thick jacket to the appointment because we will have all windows wide open to allow air circulation. In addition we have multiple air purifiers on in the office. It will be chilly in the office.

  • Please understand that these changes to protocols are there to keep not only you, but also our other patients and our staff members.  We are trying to do our part in preventing further spreading of the corona virus.
